EDU 4410 Elementary Science Methods

EDU 4320 (Minimum Grade of C, May not be taken concurrently)
Design of effective science instruction with a focus on National Science Teachers Association objectives and its integration into the curriculum through practical strategies, collaborative activities and technology. This course is a hands-on approach focusing on the methodologies as well as a review/analysis of current trends in elementary and middle school science and their integration into the curriculum. Research on contemporary issues in this area is reviewed. Students continue development of professional portfolios. Ten (10) hours of fieldwork are required. | 2 | 0 | 0 | | |
