Themes include: classroom culture (pedadical norms and expectations), academic integrity (plagiarism: what constitutes plagiarism, forms of and consequences of plagiarizing), critical thinking (what it means and how to apply CT skills in higher education), oral presentations/using visual tools (learning the art of oral presentations/using visual aids to enhance presentations), the group dynamic (working in groups on team-based assignments), American idiomatic expressions (how they are threaded throughout academia).
