Students learn the fundamentals of editing, managing, and founding print and online publications. This course focuses on news judgment, journalistic grammar and style, copy editing, headline writing, and ethical and legal trouble shooting. Among the possibilities: media field trips, job shadowing, and the design and execution of a print product.
