NUR 342 Advanced Health Assessment for the Registered Nurse

This is a 2 credit hour with one credit for theory and one hour for lab time. Lab time is computed on a 2:1 ratio with based on a 50 minute hour with a total of 35 hours over a 14 week semester. This course focuses on the multidimensional process of health assessment of individuals and families including history taking and physical examination, as well as developmental, cultural, spiritual and family assessment that will guide the nurse in the health promotion and disease management of the client.
