HSA 365 Computer Applications in Health Services Administration	Credit Hours	Recitation/Lecture Hours	Studio Hours	Clinical Hours	Lab Hours
Prerequisites: HSA 100 CIS 100 HSA 330 or HSA 345 Basic Excel, word processing and Internet skills. An introduction to the information technology used by the health care industry. Provides a broad overview of the hardware and software components that make up both clinical and administrative information systems. A variety of organizations involved in contemporary health care delivery will be studied, including providers and insurers. Although this is not a software course, there will be some limited hands-on computer work.	3	0	0	0	0
