DMS 491 Digital Media Studio IV
| Credit Hours | Recitation/Lecture Hours | Studio Hours | Clinical Hours | Lab Hours |
Prerequisites:
DMS 391
Must have completed all of years 1,2 & 3 of the DMS curriculum courses or the permission of the instructor.
As the 4th and most advanced DMS studio, this course challenges the students who have already completed DMS191, DMS291 and DMS391. Therefore, expectations of the students are that they not only create projects that emphasize a critical approach to design and our “Digital Culture”, but in addition, are challenged to apply the DMS interdisciplinary approach along with their own personal critique into thoughtful design projects. The design studios are a required component of the DMS major, but are open to all students. Workload, design as well theoretical and critical sophistication and expectations increase incrementally from DMS191 to DMS491. | 3 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0 |
