DMS 291
Must have successfully completed all year 1 DMS curriculum as well as DMS 191. Or permission of the instructor.
As the 3rd DMS studio, this course continues to build on the previous studios and the interdisciplinary courses the DMS student has pursued. Students are encouraged to further their critical approach to technology and to implement thoughtful design for optimal communication. Projects range from practical to highly experimental and include Web design, digital video, animation, and live presentations. The design studios are a required component of the DMS major, but are open to all students. Workload, design as well as theoretical and critical sophistication and expectations increase incrementally from DMS191 to DMS491. | 3 | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0 |
