DMS 191
Must have completed all Year 1 DMS curriculum courses as well as DMS191.
As the 2nd DMS studio, this course builds on the ideas, concepts and design processes of DMS191. The course intends to continue to engage students in the practices and theories of "Digital Culture" by emphasizing a critical approach to technology combined with design for optimal communication. Projects range from practical to highly experimental and include Web design, digital video, animation, and live presentations. The design studios are a required component of the DMS major, but are open to all students. Workload, design as well as theoretical sophistication and expectations increase incrementally from DMS191 through to DMS491. | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
