DMS 180 Introduction to Digital Media Studies

Introduces students to a growing field of research and design rooted in critical analysis of film, television, music, radio, and digital media. Students combine the study of media theory with design through the completion of projects. The projects explore the design process as well as media production and cultural and social critique. In addition, students will create present actions of their work and develop the methods of in-class dialogue and critique as integral aspects of the media design professional
