Students continue to develop reporting and writing skills, but focus is on learning and practicing the functions of editors. Emphasis is on newspaper management, persuasive writing, editing, layout and design, ethics, and on learning to use common newsroom technologies to write, edit, lay out and produce the news. Students will write for and provide editing support to The Varsity News, applying the style and usage from the AP Stylebook.
