An introduction to major concepts, theories, and paradigms of inquiry in African-American Studies. Students engage a variety of approaches through reading, discussion, of key works by African-American scholars and social thinkers, both contemporary and historical. A seminar designed to allow students to integrate critical perspectives encountered in African-American Studies courses.
