This course analyzes the role of human resource management in contemporary health services organizations. It examines the changing human resource needs, critically evaluates the organizational benefits of an effective work force, provides insight into the efficient merging of management objectives with human needs and wants, and discusses issues related to the recruitment, selection, motivation and retention of human resources.
