This course will provide an overview of leadership and organizational behavior in intelligence gathering organizations (private and governmental). Major topics to be reviewed are: major managerial theorists, distinctions between private/public sector management, challenges facing the intelligence profession, learning and communicating, use of organizational development (OD), motivation, budgeting, screening of employees, hiring, disciplinary issues, supervisory relationships, use of "emotional intelligence" theory, coaching, human resources and program evaluation. | 3 | 0 | 0 | | |
