This course is designed for secondary teachers, reading specialists and school administrators. The course emphasizes techniques and approaches for teaching reading within the content area. Strategies and approaches to help teachers enable students to read, write, think, and study more effectively and efficiently throughout the curriculum. Ten (10) hours of fieldwork are required.
