CNS 6040 Internship in Counseling

Prerequisites:
CNS 5390 (Minimum Grade of B, May not be taken concurrently)
CNS 5430 (Minimum Grade of B, May not be taken concurrently)
CNS 5850 (Minimum Grade of B, May not be taken concurrently)


The internship is the culmination of the program as the student has the opportunity to practice prior to program completion, under supervision, that particular aspect of his/her field that relates to his/her area of specialization: addictions, community, or school counseling. The internship is comprised of a total of 600 hours in a community organization or K-12 school.
