CNS 5850 Counseling Practicum

CNS 5390 (Minimum Grade of B, May not be taken concurrently)
CNS 5020 (Minimum Grade of B, May not be taken concurrently)
CNS 5320 (Minimum Grade of B, May not be taken concurrently)
CNS 5400 (Minimum Grade of B, May not be taken concurrently)
CNS 5430 (Minimum Grade of B, May not be taken concurrently)


Course is comprised of the application of basic counseling skills in a laboratory setting. Students complete 100 hours of applied counseling with individuals and groups while under direct supervision by a clinical supervisor and a faculty member. Case conceptualization is utilized to present cases while faculty, clinical supervisors, and peers assess skill application.
