NUR 5960 Teaching Practicum

2 credits practicum (1 credit =4hours/wk, 2 credits=8hrs/wek X15 = 120 hours. This course focuses on articulation of the nurse faculty role through the inclusion of a teaching practicum. Under the guidance of a master faculty member, students will have the opportunity to use evidence based teaching learning strategies to provide classroom instruction and clinical supervision. Students will also participate in shared governance activities at the University and MSON. A recruitment project with area middle and high schools will focus on mentoring potential students and increasing the diversity of the nursing profession. | 2 | 0 | 0 | | |
