This course explores the assessment and management of patient outcomes in health settings across the continuum. Methods of measuring patient outcomes that are sensitive to nursing will be explored. Various strategies used in nursing to manage patient outcomes such as care and case management, disease management, demand management, population health management, and outcomes performance management will be addressed. Students will learn skills necessary to implement and monitor programs designed to enhance patient outcomes of health care.	3	0	0
