CIS 543 Lifecycle Process Improvement

This course presents best practice lifecycle process improvement models at three levels: Organizational, Team and Personal. Students will learn about standard process improvement approaches at the organizational level by studying the Capability Maturity Model (CMM). The student will understand the requirements of each of the key process areas, as well as the general aspects of their implementation. At the Team level students will examine the application of the Team Software Process (TSP). They will discover what should be done in order to establish robust and disciplined team practices.
