An understanding of physiological psychology is required for this course which is concerned with the action of drugs used for the treatment of mental and emotional illness as well as those to which people become addicted.

A research course presenting several of the newer alternative methods. Particular emphasis upon phenomenological (human science) approaches. Students will be challenged to study human behavior in ways that bring fresh insights to the social sciences. Completion of a master’s research paper possible.
