Research/Internship/Coop/Study Abroad Experience: | | My junior year I had the two best experiences of my life. For the winter semester I had the opportunity to do a co-op in Fairbanks, Alaska. In addition to three months in Alaska, I spent three months in Europe studying abroad. Each place had a significant effect on me, allowing me to get a personal perspective on different communities and cultures |

Best Advice to give prospective college students: | | If your major allows, find a balance between social and school time. You will go crazy studying all the time, and it is your friends that keep you sane. It doesn’t hurt to go out and fun every once and awhile. |

My biggest college surprise was: | | I never knew much about Detroit, but I was surprised on how much there is to learn downtown, and the potential of the city. |

Career Goal: | | Good architecture is uncommon and 90% of the time good architecture is expensive. My goal is to bring good architecture to everyone who would like to experience it and not just the people that can afford it. Urban design is another prospect of mine, and I think it is important to commit design energy to our cities. |

Name one great thing about UDM: | | The Architecture Building, it is the perfect place to get things done, whether it is studio work or homework, or just socialize. |
