Biography

Professor Zahr is a specialist in Arab and Muslim American issues, writing and speaking widely on the subjects. In his everyday life, he is a writer, speaker, and stand-up comedian. He has performed and lectured throughout America, Canada, and the Middle East, including on dozens of campuses. He has appeared on radio and TV to discuss social, political, and legal issues affecting Arab and Muslim Americans. He also recently completed production of a documentary film, "We're Not White,"a comedic and educational approach to the Arab-American effort to get an ethnic identification box on the United States Census Form. His discussions, seminars and performances have been hosted by various ethnic groups, corporations, and government agencies.
