Professor Wenner serves as a career law clerk to United States District Court Judge Nancy G. Edmunds. Prior to that, he clerked for the Honorable Julian Abele Cook, Jr, also a U.S. District Court Judge. Professor Wenner started his career as a litigation associate at Dickinson Wright, a national law firm serving clients from 15 offices. While at the Firm, his primary focus was in the realm of antitrust law. In that regard, he served as co-counsel for a municipal government in a major bid-rigging action, counseled several large healthcare providers through investigations lodged by the United States Department of Justice, and was a member of the class counsel team representing indirect purchasers in a multi-district price fixing action. Professor Wenner was recognized as a "rising star" by Super Lawyers in 2013, and was named "top pro bono counsel" for the 313 Project that same year. Professor Wenner served as a council member on the Antitrust Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and is currently a member of the Federal Bar Association's law clerk committee.
