Following graduation from law school, Professor Goldman clerked for the Honorable Rose Elizabeth Bird, Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court. He then became an antitrust litigator for the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C.
Professor Goldman joined the faculty of the Detroit Mercy Law in 1983. He has also taught at Florida State University and the George Washington University National Law Center. Professor Goldman's research interests are diverse. He has earned a national reputation as a sports law scholar and has also published articles on antitrust, constitutional law, civil procedure, unfair competition and labor law.
Professor Goldman has served on the Executive Council of the Antitrust Section of the State Bar of Michigan and as a labor arbitrator.
