As a Google Policy Fellow, he conducted research on the international law of extraterritorial surveillance and other privacy policy issues for the Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic at the University of Ottawa, and largely contributed to the French translation of the Creative Commons 4.0 International Public Copyright licenses.
