Biography

Dr. Saunders is the Coordinator of the On-line Post-Master's Clinical Nurse Specialist distance education program. Dr. Saunders is committed to developing competent and compassionate providers in the role of the Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is additionally the lead faculty for the CNS portion of the Nurse Educator/Clinical Nurse Specialist dual degree master's program. Dr. Saunders actively serves as a Board Member for the MI-CNS and represents the MSON on various university committees. Her research endeavors are to articulate and improve family caregiver outcomes when caring for a heart failure patient at home. Read a short interview with Professor Sauders.
