Biography

I am a Masters prepared registered nurse with more than 16 years of experience in the Coronary and Intensive Care Units at major teaching hospitals in Michigan, Philadelphia, and New York City.  Therefore, my area of expertise is medical/surgical nursing of the adult.

In addition, I have over 5 years of classroom, laboratory, and clinical teaching experience in Associate, Baccalaureate, and Accelerated Second Degree nursing programs.  I have also mentored Masters of Nursing Education students in both the clinical and classroom settings.

I am interested in integrating simulation and other technologies into the nursing curriculum, and studying its effects on student learning.
