Architecture Lecturers: Elizabeth Mossop and Detroit Innovators

As part of the 2016-17 Lecture Series, University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture welcomes Elizabeth Mossop of Spackman Mossop and Michaels on Monday, Sept. 26 at 5:30 p.m. as well as a discussion panel featuring “Detroit Innovators,” showcasing the impact on Detroit’s resurgence completed by 25 alumni, on Friday Sept. 30 at 5 p.m. Both events will be taking place in the Warren Loranger Architecture Building’s Genevieve Fisk Loranger Architecture Center on Detroit Mercy’s McNichols Campus.

MossopMossop is a renowned landscape architect, and the Dean of Facility of Design, Architecture and Building at the University of Technology in Sydney. Her firm is working on innovating development proposals for the City of Detroit and she will be talking about her work on Sept. 26.

Adding onto revitalization, 25 recent Detroit Mercy School of Architecture graduates who are making an impact on the evolution of Detroit’s built environment will be speaking on Sept. 30. The discussion panel will host the following alumni, four major Detroit Innovators who are impacting our City’s future:
