UDM students, who are dressed for the festive activities, will be passing out candy to children on Friday, Oct. 30, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center Fountain Lounge on UDM's McNichols Campus. (The event will be held outside, weather permitting.) Fraternities, sororities and other student organizations will each decorate a booth for their organization for the children to trick-or-treat from booth to booth.

All children are invited to the free event, and not only will children receive candy, but they can also have their face painted. In addition to the fun, students from UDM’s School of Dentistry will be handing out free toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss to all of the little goblins and ghouls.

UDM's School of Architecture was the first to establish Safety Street for neighborhood children; however, it quickly evolved into a huge event within the UDM community. Many organizations and other schools surrounding the McNichols campus are invited to participate in this event.
