UDM Law Welcomes Back Alum, Retired Judge

University of Detroit Mercy School of Law will honor retired Administrative Law Judge Roy Roulhac ‘75 on Tuesday, July 15in the atrium of the school’s Riverfront Campus. A cocktail reception begins at 5 p.m., followed by a presentation by Roulhac, titled “From Busboy to Barrister: Reflections on Life as a Lawyer, Genealogist, Author, and Administrative Law Judge.”

Roulhac attended UDM Law, where he helped found the Black Law Students Association. In addition to serving as an Administrative Law Judge, he is the author of Slave Genealogy of the Roulhac Family: French Masters & the Africans They Enslaved.
