Why you’re going to love my class
You'll make tons of connections between what we study in class and your own life. You’ll get an appreciation for things more interesting and complex than they seem at first. You’ll read, watch, and think differently when you leave our classroom.
Great things in store after UDM

You don’t have to choose between making a living and living a life that you love. At UDM we want to help you find your calling: that point of intersection between what you are passionate about, what you do well, what will provide for you, and what the world needs.

“We want great things for you” means

We are interested in working with you on whatever you’re committed to. We also expect great things of you. We will provide you with the tools you need to develop that greatness.

My favorite part about teaching you is

High energy and great ideas. The students at UDM ask better questions than the faculty of some other schools.

I may change your mind

About whether you are a writer, scholar, or storyteller (hint: you are).

All my best projects start with the observation, “Hmmm, that’s weird ...”

No other professor can say to you
“I never thought of that, that’s really interesting, let’s talk about it” as often as I do.
