I.T. Application in the Workforce

Information Technology Application is among the top Career Readiness Competencies that employers look for when considering a student or recent graduate for employment. This information session will be presented by Gerry Roston, PhD of Tech Town Detroit, Detroit's entrepreneurship hub.

Who should attend?

Any student preparing for or actively involved in the search for an internship or full time employment. 

What topics will be covered?

  • The importance of information technology application in the workforce.
  • What technology employers use most often and why.
  • Examples of how technology is applied in the labor force.
  • How information technology skills are evaluated by your potential employer.
