"Detroit" Film screening and post-film discussion

Thanks to Professor of Education Ike McKinnon and Detroit City Council president Brenda Jones, Detroit Mercy students will have the opportunity to see and discuss the new film, "Detroit," on Thursday, Sept. 7 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Emagine Theatre, 200 N. Main Street in Royal Oak. Immediately following the film, Professor of Education Ike McKinnon and Professor of History Roy E. Finkenbine will be available for a discussion at the theatre.

Advanced reservation is required; tickets will be free with a valid Detroit Mercy ID. Contact Student Life for more information and to RSVP. The bus will arrive at 1 p.m. and leave at 1:15 p.m. at the Livernois entrance of the McNichols Campus.
