Detroit is our classroom and our home.
UDM is located in Detroit, one of the world's great commercial and industrial centers, and a learning and cultural center as well. The many top-flight businesses and institutions headquartered in Detroit have been very generous in offering co-op and internship opportunities to our students. In many cases, the doors to those businesses and institutions were opened by our alumni who work there. Detroit also provides a wealth of cultural and entertainment opportunities. On those rare occasions when there's nothing scheduled on campus, there's always a movie, concert, exhibit or game to attend in Detroit.
