We want you to feel welcome.
University of Detroit Mercy’s programs span three campuses within the city of Detroit, offering students the opportunity to learn in a dynamic urban environment.
The McNichols Campus, located in northwest Detroit, is the main undergraduate campus. Many of our “legacy buildings” have been totally refitted with new lab and classroom space designed using the latest research and teaching technology. Our Health Professions facility mirrors the hospital and clinical settings in which our students will work when they graduate.
And with a new Student Fitness Center and the Grounds Coffeehaus, you have great spots to exercise and meet friends. There’s also plenty to do off campus, with the dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities in downtown Detroit and the cities of Royal Oak and Ferndale just short drives away.
Home to our School of Law, the Riverfront Campus is located across from the Renaissance Center, in the heart of Detroit’s business and legal community. The University’s oldest building, Dowling Hall, which underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in 2011, is found here.
Students can easily walk from campus to federal, state and municipal court buildings and the region’s largest law firms and multinational corporations, including General Motors, Compuware, and Comerica Bank.
Also nearby is the school’s George J. Asher Law Clinic Center. Located in a converted firehouse, this 6,000 square foot facility opened in 2012 to house nine legal aid clinics.
UDM’s newest campus — located in Detroit’s oldest neighborhood — is home to our School of Dentistry and dental clinic. The campus opened in 2008, and features educational technology that is the leading edge of dental education.
